What should I do if my Shield Life Product does not turn on?
- Please check to see that the ON/OFF button has been pressed and the green led is on.
- Please check to see that all connections have been properly secured.
What should I do if my Shield Life Product does not get warm?
- FIR heat requires a small amount of pressure to begin experiencing warmth.
- Please check to see that the temperature setting on the dial is on the appropriate setting.
- Please check to see that all connections have been properly secured.
- Unplug temperature controller from the Shield Life product and the wall outlet, wait 5 minutes and reconnect. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact Customer Service for replacement or service.
What should I do if my Shield Life Product gets too hot?
- Please check to see that the temperature setting has not been set on HIGH.
- Check to see that the product is not folded in any area. Folds lead to a concentration heat in the specific area.
- If the product is still too hot, unplug the product, and contact customer service.
What should I do if the temperature controller gets warm?
- A small amount of heat is generated by the heat sink that is installed in the Temperature Controller
My Shield Life product is making a slight noise, what is it?
- The noises emitted by the mat may be a result of blocking and minimizing the emission of electromagnetic fields. Once the mat has reached its maximum temperature, the resulting noise is caused by an automatic power regulator and these noises do not constitute a malfunction.
What should I do if the ON/OFF light on the temperature controller is blinking red?
- Unplug temperature controller from the Shield Life product and the wall outlet, wait 5 minutes and reconnect. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact Customer Service for replacement or service.
What should I do if there is a scent of heated plastic from my temperature controller?
- If you smell heated plastic, immediately unplug the temperature controller from the wall. The scent is emanating from the fuse inside the temperature controller, please contact Customer Service for replacement or service.
